Food Pantries
Center for Self Reliance
Center for Self-Reliance Food Pantry
What We Do:
The pantries have local produce, nutritious, and shelf stable food. We can refer shoppers to other services offered by Community Action Pioneer Valley.
Who Can Get Food?
Food is available for anyone with a completed application.
How Do I Sign Up?
You can sign up for food by visiting either pantry. The application process will take about 10 minutes. No identification or income verification is needed. We have applications in English, Spanish, and Russian. You are able to shop for food the same day.
Where Do I Go?
You can find the location and hours of both pantries on the right side of this page. You can call 413-773-5029 if you have questions about where to go.
How Often Can I Visit The Center for Self Reliance?
You can visit or have food delivered four times each month.
If I Pick Delivery, When Is Food Delivered?
All Greenfield deliveries happen on Tuesday or Friday. All Montague, Turners Falls and other surrounding towns get delivery on Friday. West County Deliveries happen on Wednesday.
How Much Food Will I Get?
The amount of food you get depends on your household size.
Can You Help Me With SNAP (Food Stamps) or WIC?
Yes! You can ask for help with SNAP or WIC at either of our pantries, or click on the links to the right under “You May Also Qualify for” for more information about help with these programs.
